Alan came to digital photography with a degree in graphic arts, composition and design and as the former owner of a graphic arts company. "Alan was one of the most influential mentors I've had in my life. He was a fantastic teacher. One of my favorite things about him was how he encouraged me to find my inner artist. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Cooper Union in New York and a Master’s degree in Photography from Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts. Bill began his career photographing people, developing a deep appreciation for the art of lighting—particularly in portraiture, where he often incorporates vintage portrait lighting techniques to create timeless, expressive images.
