The New York Public Library's historic landmark building and neighboring Bryant Park, a designated scenic landmark, offer an exciting pairing of iconic architecture with a vibrant Manhattan scene. We'll start with a discussion of composition, lighting, camera settings and how to capture motion and change perspectives. We'll shoot in the Schwarzman building's majestic spaces, using the light from its massive windows and grand chandeliers to capture images of people, architecture, and details, then head outdoors to bustling Bryant Park to photograph the people and action at the colorful holiday market and the action on the famed seasonal ice skating rink. We will end the day with a review and Q&A.
Smartphone users welcome.
