PAYMENTS
In order to optimize your experience during this workshop, we limit group size, so don’t wait to sign up.
The full workshop price is due at the time of booking. All prices are in United States Dollars. Because of the huge demand for hotel rooms in this area during Photokina, all payments are non-refundable after December 1, 2019 (please read “Cancellations and Refunds” below).
Acceptance of any participant is subject to receipt and review of required forms, documents, and payment.
CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS & ITINERARY CHANGES
We must receive written notice of your request to cancel. A per person $100 administration fee will be deducted from each refund. Because of prepayments required by our suppliers, we will not be able to issue refunds after December 1, 2019. A refund may be considered if we are able to fill your registered place with another attendee,
All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing as soon as possible to Princeton Photo Workshop. Exceptions to our cancellation policy cannot be made for any reason, including weather or personal emergencies. We can not provide a refund for travelers arriving late or unexpectedly leaving the trip. No partial refunds are made for unused portions or services for any reason whatsoever.
Princeton Photo Workshop reserves the right to cancel this trip, for any reason, at any time prior to departure. In this case, a full refund of all payments received constitutes full settlement. The workshop may be cancelled if registrations don’t meet the minimum number of participants prior to December 27, 2019.
We are not responsible for additional expenses incurred preparing for the trip (for example: non-refundable advance purchase air tickets, clothing, equipment, passport fees, medical expenses, etc.).
Our Workshop is subject to the realities of the natural world. Although we will do everything in our power to stay on itinerary, circumstances beyond our control may affect our itinerary. The price and duration of a trip will never change once you are registered. Payments are not refundable for any itinerary change.
MEDICAL and TRAVEL INSURANCE
Each participant must be covered by medical insurance that is valid overseas.
We highly recommend protecting your travel investment and purchasing a trip insurance policy that includes emergency evacuation coverage. Travel insurance provides you with trip cancellation/interruption, travel delay, medical expenses, emergency assistance, air flight, baggage and baggage delay coverages. Medical coverage purchased with your policy is crucial and required if you do not have health insurance. We think you will find several good options for your travel insurance plans at Squaremouth.com
POLICIES
Traveling in a group invariably involves compromise to accommodate the interests, goals, personalities, and abilities of all participants. Your instructors may be required to improvise and exercise good faith, use discretion, and/or make decisions based upon group consensus. These decisions may not always please each individual, but they are intended to satisfy the desires of the group.
We will not rent or sell any of your personal information to third parties.
Princeton Photo Workshop will not assume responsibility for any overseas company or persons who fail to provide services that have been contracted for. In the case of such an event, alternative services will be sought.
Unlike other tours, no tipping is expected. However, you may choose to leave a modest tip for meals not included in the Itinerary. You may tip your driver and local guides if you feel their service has added to your enjoyment of the workshop. Your instructors and their assistants will not accept gratuities.
AN IMPORTANT QUESTION…
Q: My partner only takes pictures with their phone (or doesn’t take pictures at all). Is my partner welcome on this trip?
A: This is a fabulous trip for partners who are more interested in exploring interesting destinations than in taking pictures. Even during our day at Photokina, Cologne has so much to see! With multiple nights at each hotel, there will be lots of time for a non-photographer to explore the town and area on their own. Non-photographers are equal members of the group, entitled to the same hotel, dining, and other services. Thus, the price for a non-photographer is the same.
