Friday, October 9, 2015, 6:00 pm - Get to know the instructors and fellow students at a funky and fun downtown bar/ restaurant with an off-the-beaten-path NYC vibe. Saturday, October 10, 2015, 10:00 am - 9:00 pm We'll begin the day with a discussion of the theory of everything photographic, learning and practicing in and around Grand Central Terminal. In the afternoon, we will seek out Central Park's talented, dynamic street performers, the Apple Store and whatever comes our way in this classic New York venue. After dinner, we will learn about night shooting and capture the lights and activity of Times Square after dark. Sunday, October 11, 2015, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Our day will start in a classroom on one of the most interesting streets in the East Village, populated by storied off-off Broadway theaters. We will spend a couple of hours critiquing our images, reviewing what we have learned so far and preparing for our afternoon shoot among the tenements, artists and characters in the East Village.
